Frequently Asked Questions

+ Q: What is Permanent Make Up?

A: Get ready to embrace the game-changing technique of injecting pigment into your skin's dermal layer with micropigmentation. Multiple techniques are utilized to achieve the desired outcome, taking your beauty to the next level.

+ Q: How long does it last?

A: Nano brows usually lasts about 1-2 years, while Ombre Brows can maintain their appearance for 2-3 years. However, the duration can vary depending on different factors such as skin type (normal, oily, dry), age (youthful/mature), and skincare routine. If a patient tans regularly or uses products with AHA or Glycolic Acid, the pigment may fade faster since the skin resurfaces more quickly. Every individual has a unique color retention rate within the skin. To keep the brows looking fresh, a touch-up is recommended every 18-24 months. It's possible to let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note a slight shadow may remain.

Factors that will cause your microbladed brow tattoo fade faster:

  • Iron deficiency

  • Sun exposure

  • Exfoliants

  • Strong immune systems

  • Exposure to salt water

  • Smoking

+ Q: Does it hurt?

A: Our top priority is to ensure that every client feels as comfortable as possible during their visit. Typically, there is little to no pain experienced during the procedure. To further minimize discomfort, we apply a topical 5% lidocaine anesthetic both before and during the procedure.

+ Q: Is a consultation required?

A: When it comes to getting that perfect brow, we’ve got you covered! If you've had previous procedures or have any concerns about your skin, it's essential to schedule a consultation to ensure you're in the clear. On the other hand, if you're revamping your brows, we’ve got you covered! A consultation is already built into the appointment to determine the best technique, shape, and color for your beauty needs.

What is the healing process for Microblading/Ombre Brows?

**These are estimates. Days can vary. Smoking, diabetes, stress & age can increase the healing time.

Day 1-3 Brows will look darker and thicker. Brows may feel tender and sore, looking warm and/or reddish.

Day 4-5 Redness should be reduced, but flaking and crusting may occur. Dry and itchy, may look patchy, and may have discoloration.

Day 6-12: 70-100% of scabs should fall off during this time. The color looks very light, and the shape may look thinner; some areas may have lost more color compared to others, and color can appear uneven.

Day 13-21 Brow color gradually darkens as the skin fully heals. The fully healed color will be 30-50% lighter from the initial appointment. Retention can vary according to skin type.
